CHURCH!!!

I finally got around to going to church today and it was great! I really really really missed it. They moved to a new facility that has better acoustic treatment and it sounded GREAT. But more importantly, its amazing how it felt right at home even if i was gone for a while.

Church here in Manila is so different from the US. I mean of course you’ll expect that, its a different culture and theres all sorts of different people. Im just really in awe. Iba lang talaga yung saya.

Ang sarap ng pakiramdam na kahit mali mali na lahat ng ginawa mo sa buhay mo, may uuwian ka paring Ama na hindi nagbabago at palaging nag uunawa at nagmamahal while at the same time being completely just.

Sa totoo lang. Naiyak ako bigla habang nag w worship kasi naghalo yung emotion with the fact that i really missed truly enjoying music live like that (props to the sound guy and acoustic treatment of the venue … IT REALLY HELPS), and the fact that i felt like i was “coming home” and that i had a moment of repentance sa mga pagkakalat ko.

anyway. basta. ang saya! ang ganda ng tunog, ang ganda ng message saka ang sarap lang talaga! I really really honestly and truly missed it.

Um.

I FELL ON STAGE TODAY. HAHAHAHA.

It was probably the funniest thing i have experienced in my life. More-so because it was when i was about to lead worship at my church right before communion. I REALLY WANTED TO LAUGH but no one reacted since it was a “SOLEMN” part of the service.

SOOOOO AWKWARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

but was really funny. THIS IS GOING DOWN IN HISTORY!!! hahahahahahahahahh!!! I actually sort of hoped that one of these days i’d see something like that happen. I think im even happier that it happened to me so i can tell everyone about it without guilt. HAHAHA

“THERE CAN’T BE JUST ONE TRUE RELIGION”

any honest thoughts?

Im gonna be facilitating a (Christian) community group in the next couple of weeks and this is our first topic of discussion. Were following this series called “The Reason for God” which is a study conducted by Dr Tim Keller (a pastor in NYC) about his real and unscripted discussions with people to address their objections and doubts about Christianity and reveal the truth behind it.

it would be GREAT if you can share your thoughts. I need as much input as i can. And maybe one of these days we can talk about it. you may PM me if you dont wanna comment on this wall post.
